Most of the urgent problems can only be solved with international cooperation. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that the pressing issues currently faced throughout the world can only be solved by working together on a global scale. I believe that international collaboration is a far more effective method of problem-solving than working independently.
Firstly, international cooperation is more economical and results in less wasted time. When working together, countries can combine intellectual and financial resources to solve issues faster. In other words, it avoids duplication of effort because one country's expertise can help address the same kind of problems in other countries. For example, Denmark has one of the most efficient waste management systems in the world and is currently assisting African nations in replicating the systems. As a result, these nations can quickly apply the technology to tackle relevant issues rather than wait for their own experts to create a similar system.
Secondly, international cooperation will provide an opportunity for the participating countries to learn more about different fields. There are always areas in which a country lacks efficient knowledge or information, but they can gain insight through discussions with each other. For example, there are economic forums organized every year aiming at sharing information about new solutions to reduce the side effects of economic crisis.
Lastly, some issues are so global in scale that solving them independently is impossible. The effects of climate change are evident around the world, and they cannot be fixed without joint efforts. For example, even though some countries are striving to reduce carbon emissions, this may have little impact if other countries continue to burn fossil fuel at an alarming rate. Therefore, working separately will undoubtedly lead to little achievement.
In conclusion, collaboration surely allows the world to bring together each other’s most potent resources to effectively solve urgent issues.
